Congrats to Super Dave and Shelby on their 1D Open Average Saddle win at the 2012 NBHA State Finals. They won the 1st go on Saturday and were 5th in the 2nd go. They also won the Youth 1D Average. At the 2012 NRA Finals they won 2nd in the Junior Barrel Average, winning 2nd in Round 1 and 3rd in Round 2. Dave is also a stand-out pole bender: watch Dave and Shelby win the poles at the JHS Rodeo in East Glacier, May 19, 2012, with a time of 20.08 (click here for Youtube video). Now Shelby's main ride, Dave and Katie qualified for the 2010 and 2011 Montana Pro Rodeo circuit finals, winning round 3 two years in a row. Last year they skyrocketed from 12th to 4th in year-end standings after their finals performance. |
