Cowboy Way Performance Horses is owned and operated by Flint and Katie Rasmussen. Our 200-acre equestrian ranch, situated on the beautiful Rocky Mountain Front, is 10 miles north of Choteau, Montana. Muddy Creek weaves its way throughout the property, which is divided into eight pastures with horse shelters and automatic waterers. Our horses are turned out on pasture all year, making for healthy, happy horses.

We take great pride in raising and training top-quality, barrel racing-bred quarter horses on this roomy and ideal equine facility, which features:

• 150 x 300-foot outdoor arena with automatic, remote roping chute, return alley and catch pens
• 80 x 180-foot indoor arena
• Large barn with stalls, runs, and insulated tack room
• Miles of trails

Katie is a WPRA barrel racer, two-time Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finalist, barrel horse trainer, and former school teacher.

Shelby is a tough rodeo competitor. Her gymnastics training has made her strong, balanced, and fearless.

Paige is an up-and-coming stock contractor with her sights set on the PBR Tour. She owns two bucking bulls and she also rides Big Zane and Whitney.

Flint is an 8-time World Champion Rodeo Clown and now the exclusive entertainer for the Professional Bull Riders. Flint uses all of our horses moving cattle and roping at brandings. Check out his page (click here).
